James R. Shaw, Jr

James Robert Shaw, Jr. passed away in his sleep at his San Leandro home of over seventy years. He died less than two weeks before his 94th birthday. Jim enlisted in the Navy during World War II and served in the Pacific. He spend most of his life as a self-employed, tire shop owner in Newark. He will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews. Jim is survived by his brother, George Shaw, from Peoria, Arizona. Many thanks to Jim's caregivers who improved his quality of life. Jim was a generous and caring man with a zest for life. He will be greatly missed.
