John Lynn Rosa

Resident of Alameda Life Long Bay Area Resident

Born and raised on Park Blvd in Oakland, CA. Lifelong Bay Area resident John Lynn Rosa passed away on April 19, 2013 at the age of 66.

Proceeded in death by his parents, Ellen and John Rosa, and his sister, Joanne Grief. He is survived by Jan, his wife of 37 years, sons John (Matt), Jim (Jayme), Jeff (Shawna), and his grandchildren, Annie, Joey, Jackie, John (August 2013) and sister Marilyn O'Sullivan. He is also survived by many other loving relatives.

John graduated from St. Mary's College High School in Berkeley, Armstrong University, and Holy Names College.

Longtime merchant of Fisherman's Market in Alameda. Second career in education, fifth grade teacher at La Escuelita Elementary School in Oakland, CA.

Community serviced oriented. Tireless volunteer for Alameda Little League, Alameda Babe Ruth, Boy Scouts of America, and St. Philip Neri Catholic Church, among others.
