Ottavia Torrano

Ottavia died peacefully at age 86. "Zia" Ottavia, was a woman of strength and courage, a devout Catholic and member of Epiphany Parish in San Francisco for over 50 years.
Ottavia was a proud aunt, friend and godmother to many. She was predeceased by her husband of 25 years, Fred Torrano, who passed away in 1979.
One of six children from Verbicaro, Italy, she is survived by her brother Settimo Torrano from Rohnert Park, CA. She was predeceased by her siblings Giuseppe Torrano, Theresa Torrano Annuzzi, Rosaria Torrano Rossi and Anna Torrano Annuzzi. In the USA, she is survived by her sole niece, Marilyn Martini (Steve) of San Rafael, CA and her nephews Walter Annuzzi (Devon) of Vacaville, CA, Franco Cirelli (Pina) of Cotati, CA, Frank Torrano (Liz) of Wilton, CA, and Joe Annuzzi of San Francisco, CA, as well as many grandnieces, and nephews. Abroad, Ottavia also had many nieces and nephews in Italy and Austria.
Friends are invited to visit after 4:00PM on Thursday November 29, 2012 and are invited to attend a Vigil Service also on Thursday at 7:00PM at the chapels of Valente Marini Perata and Co. 4840 Mission St., SF. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 11:00AM at Church of the Epiphany, 827 Vienna Street, SF. Committal Service to follow at the Italian Cemetery in Colma, CA.
