Robert A. Quinn

Nov. 22, 1938 - March 9, 2013

Robert, a long time San Francisco resident, passed away earlier this month. He was the dear uncle of Thomas Brian Quinn, Katie Quinn, Cory Quinn Joseph and Sherri Quinn Quock. He also leaves behind 4 great nieces and 3 great nephews. He will be missed by his many lifelong friends.

Robert proudly served in the Air Force from 1957 to 1959 in Okinawa. Later he worked as a police officer at San Francisco International Airport and then as an airfield safety officer. He was an avid SF Giants fan as well as a long time follower of the SF 49ers. He loved to travel and went to London frequently to see the latest shows. He was involved with the Civil War Roundtable and travelled to several Civil War sites. He was president of the Geneva Excelsior Lions Club and member of the Mariposa Hunters Point Yacht Club. Robert was always available and ready to help people in need.

Friends may visit on Saturday March 23, 2013 after 10:00AM and are invited to attend the Funeral Service also on Saturday at 11:00AM all at the chapels of Valente Marini Perata & Co. 4840 Mission St. SF.
