(1936 - 2012)
Ruggiero Gale Pelosi, age 76, died suddenly at his home in Palm Desert, CA, on November 5. He is survived by his beloved wife Barbara, 3 step children: David Norcross, Greg Norcross, and Kimberly Lyons; two sisters-in-law, 13 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. An accomplished musician, Ruggi held a Master's Degree in Violin Performance from San Francisco State College and traveled the country with Arthur Fiedler and the Boston Pops Orchestra. A native of San Francisco, he played with many orchestras and spent the last 35 years before he retired with the world-class San Francisco Ballet Orchestra. After retirement in 2000, Ruggi and Barbara moved to Palm Desert to enjoy the warm climate. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. A Celebration of Life for Ruggi will be held on January 6, 2013 at a location as yet to be determined. Those who wish to attend should RSVP to musicians2@aol.com."
