Ulysses Odysseus

Of San Rafael, CA, passed away on February 9, 2014. He was born in Pythagorio on the island of Samos, Greece to Epaminondas and Paraskevi Orologas on April 28, 1938. Ulysses and his two brothers owned Roland's Boat Repair in San Rafael for 30 years. He enjoyed gardening, painting, long walks, visiting family in Greece and was known for his energy and humor.

Ulysses is survived by his wife of almost 38 years Julie, daughters Paraskevi and Alexandra and sisters Eleni Sarrigeorgiou, Athina Metakou, Evangelia Parashaki, and Maria Papahaji in Greece. He was predeceased by his siblings George Orologas Roland, Peggy Koutsodonti and Emmanuel Mike Orologas.

The Trisagion Service (Visitation) is on Thursday, February 13 at 6:30 p.m. The Funeral Service is on Friday, February 14 at 10:00 a.m. both held at Nativity of Christ Greek Orthodox Church, 1110 Highland Drive, Novato, CA 94949. Committal to follow at Valley Memorial Park, 650 Bugeia Lane, Novato, CA 94945.
