Michael Donohoe Obituary

Michael J. Donohoe Michael James Donohoe passed away on December 14th, 2012 while on his daily run in Golden Gate Park. A 42 year resident of San Francisco, he was born in Phoenix, AZ and grew up in Buffalo, NY. He is survived by son, Gabriel and daughter in law, Kan, grandchildren Lauren and Derek, mother Esther, brothers Tom and Robert, and nieces Natalia, Amanda, and Claire, and nephews Craig and Chris. He was predeceased by his father James. He held a BA from the University of Buffalo at NY and a JD from Golden Gate Law School. He served his country both in the Peace Corps in Turkey and in the US Army Infantry during the Vietnam War. An avid runner, he ran many long distance endurance runs. He was a very active member of the SF Hash House Harriers. He was also an avid SF 49ers fan. Services were held with military honors at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. Donations in his honor may be made to Wolf Haven International.

Mike, we will miss your warm laugh and tremendous spirit. I'll always remember the mensa get togethers, playing darts, tasting wines, and laughing at life's madness.

Carol, Gabriel, and Kan, thinking of you, and hoping the good memories of Mike are helping in this sad time.
