Native, South San Franciscan, entered into rest on April 17, 2013 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Phyllis E. Padreddii; loving father of Mark (Susan), Aldo (Barbara), Stepsons Mark and Steve; Adored grandfather of Gregory, Nicole, Alicia, Samantha, Ryan, Brandon, Leslie & Derek; brother of Laura, Past-Mayor and Councilman of South San Francisco, Planning Commissioner for South San Francisco, Past-Chairman and member of the Board of Trustee's for the So.SF Unified School District, Past member of the San Mateo County Fair Board, Member of the Italian American Citizens Club, Elks Club, Member of the YMI Council #32, Harbor Commissioner for San Mateo County, He devoted over 50 years to public service including the initial development of the Oyster Point Marina, over 32 years' experience in City and State law enforcement. His passion was hunting and fishing in Cabo San Lucas, MX. He will be dearly missed.
Friends may visit between 5-8pm Wed., Apr. 24th Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino, So.SF. Mass of Resurrection will be held on Thurs., Apr. 25th , 10am, All Souls Church, corner of Walnut and Miller Ave., So.SF. Donations may be made in memory of Leo A. It has. Been such a. Pleasure knowing Leo. We first met Leo in 1984 when he and Phyllis got married.we have been friends ever since. He was a remarkable guy.always with the big smile the big hugs ,the great food,the fabulous story teller and a true friend.so thoughful and considerate and a interested listener . A man for all seasons,we will miss you my friend,rest in peace

Mary Kay and I extend to Phyllis and the whole Padreddii Family our sincere sadness in learning of our beloved friends passing. Leo, was a loved and appreciated friend who was compashionate and always present to help others, share his wealth of lieflong experiences and fish catching skill. He will be missed by all the staff and returning owners each of the coming years in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Sorry for your loss. Leo will be missed by the Harbor Commission and in particular I will miss his sense of humor. I learned much from Leo during our 15 years of serving together. I will always remember the words "good report" when a staff member made a short or no report during Commission meetings. What a guy...
