Charmaine Campedel Obituary

Charmaine I. Campedel Resident of Concord Charmaine Iris Campedel, 80, died December 29, 2010 in Concord. Charmaine, a native of Honolulu, HI moved to Sacramento, CA after Pearl Harbor in 1941. She met Eugene Campedel in San Francisco and they've been married for 64 years. They shared a long and fruitful life together! Charmaine was Manager of Sailor's Union of the Pacific Restaurant for many years and was a member of Court De La Salle, Catholic Daughters of the Americas. She is survived by her husband, Gene, children Gene Jr., Lynn and Mark, 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren as well as her sister Camille Crouse. She was predeceased by her son Chris in April 1996. Visitation commencing on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at 5PM with a Vigil Service at 7PM at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Rd., Concord. Funeral Liturgy will be on Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at 10:30AM at St. Bonaventure Church, 5562 Clayton Rd., Concord. Private Inurnment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette. Ouimet Bros. Chapel 925-682-4242

I have very fond, loving memories of Char & Jan, visiting everyone at your cabin in Monte Rio, or back in the day in San Fran, but especially in Concord. Your home was always full of life, love, laughter and great dinners. You were my Auntie, and I am so very sad.
