Ginny...it was an honor to have worked with Norm for many years here at LLNL. He was a brilliant technical person as well as an amazing gentlemen. There are so many lives he has touched in the Optical community throughout the world as well as a wonderful friend. He will be missed so much. My prayers are with you and your family.

Roger and I remember with fondness Norman's great intellect and the broadness of his talent and interests. He helped locate a Dore edition of The Inferno in Italian for me to give as a gift to my father. I remember visiting Norm and Ginny and being awestruck at the beauty of his calligraphy correspondence. We will be forever happy that we had just had lunch with Ginny and Norman in August and had a wonderful get-together. Our condolences to the entire Brown family.
