Marie Ringrose

Marie Gherini Ringrose A vibrant and sharp-minded centurion who passed away on October 22, 2010. Born in Asti, California and lived most of her life in San Francisco. Wife of the late Harold Ringrose; daughter of the late Ambrose and Maria Gherini; sister of the late Ilda McGinness, Pier and Francis Gherini; loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Marie graduated from the St. Rose Academy and the University of California, Berkeley and was a member of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Marie loved to travel and usually made trips annually. Europe and Asia were some of her favorite spots as she connected with numerous countries around the world. Marie was Past-President of the Little Children's Aid auxiliary and Franklin Hospital auxiliary (now California Pacific Medical Center-Davies Campus); Past-President of the Poodle Club of America and Poodle Club of Central California., and member of the Metropolitan Club and Olympic Club. The family would like to thank the Skilled Nursing staff of the San Francisco Towers for their excellent care of Marie. Vigil service will be Thursday, Oct. 28th, 7:00pm at HALSTED N. GRAY - CAREW & ENGLISH, 1123 Sutter Street, S.F. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday Oct. 29th, 9:15 am at St. Vincent de Paul Church, Green at Steiner Street.
