Joseph Sausedo

Joseph Sausedo 86, of Galt, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2010, in Lodi. He was born in Riverside, California to Gonzalo and Luisa Sausedo on March 17, 1924. Joseph served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a tower crane operator for 35 years and is a Retired Life Member of Operating Engineers Local 3. He retired in March 1989. Joseph is survived by his children: Robert (Mary) Sausedo, George (Diane) Sausedo, Sylvia (Gil) Cisneros, and Arthur (Victoria) Sausedo; grandchildren: Luisa, Leah, and Anita; siblings: Julia, Mary, Esther, Margaret, and David; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Beatriz Sausedo, and siblings, John, Nancy, and Luisa. Friends are invited to visit on Friday, October 22, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Crippen and Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, in Redwood City. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 23, at 2 p.m. at the Woodside Chapel. Committal will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo.
