Joseph Sausedo Obituary

Joseph Sausedo 86, of Galt, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2010, in Lodi. He was born in Riverside, California to Gonzalo and Luisa Sausedo on March 17, 1924. Joseph served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a tower crane operator for 35 years and is a Retired Life Member of Operating Engineers Local 3. He retired in March 1989. Joseph is survived by his children: Robert (Mary) Sausedo, George (Diane) Sausedo, Sylvia (Gil) Cisneros, and Arthur (Victoria) Sausedo; grandchildren: Luisa, Leah, and Anita; siblings: Julia, Mary, Esther, Margaret, and David; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife, Beatriz Sausedo, and siblings, John, Nancy, and Luisa. Friends are invited to visit on Friday, October 22, from 5 - 8 p.m. at Crippen and Flynn Woodside Chapel, 400 Woodside Road, in Redwood City. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 23, at 2 p.m. at the Woodside Chapel. Committal will take place on Sunday at 1 p.m. at Skylawn Memorial Park in San Mateo. Lodi Funeral Home and Crippen and Flynn Chapel are assisting the family with the arrangements. A virtual registar book may be signed at www.lodifunernalhome.com

My Tio Joe was a Big Teddy Bear. He looked tough on the outside, but really you could talk to him & listen to stories he had to say especially if they were about you & younger days. I loved seeing him a few weeks ago with his Long Hair.It fit his lifestyle. At home with his Toys. Rest in Peace Tio tell all up there Hey for me. Your Niece Carol
