We were away when this horrible event
happened. It was such a shock and I can't believe she's gone.
I will miss my favorite kumare, the
godmother of my eldest daughter.
Helen was such a sweet and religious
person and I will miss her terribly .
Rest In Peace, Kumadre , and see you
up there when my time comes!

Oh dear Helen! I just found out today about your passing! It saddens me that I along with many of your Pacific Bell friends missed saying goodbye to you but more than anything it saddens us deeply that the beautiful, fun-loving, kind Helen is gone. I know we have not seen each other in years but you will be missed! You were one of the friendliest people I ever worked with! The first time I met you, you gave me cookies and we talked about your favorite designers. You were so funny! Everyday you Had some sort of treat to share with us. You even shared your dance steps with us! Thank you for the many smiles, the kindness and the stories we shared! I just know you are dancing away up there! May perpetual light shine upon you . Rest in peace my friend!

Helen was with us last January, 2010 on our trip to Dubai. I can still see her smiling face. she had to switched chairs with me during our dinner at the ship because the water waves make her dizzy. she was seated next to me on the plane on our trip back to san francisco from Dubai. Let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace. Amen.

Dear Mrs. Calma,
I just want to say thank you for being one of my moms. Throughout the past 4 years or so that i haven't seen you, Mr. Calma, Ricardo and Richel, there hasn't been a day that I haven't thought about you guys. I will always remember the great times that I shared with you guys. Once again THANK YOU. And I love you.

Thank you for being in my life. Every single time I saw you, I couldn't help but to go up to you, be it by walking, running, or just sprinting to say "Hi!" to you. You always looked out for me ever since I was little, you were essentially a third Grandma to me.
My first time alter serving, and you were there and congratulated me afterward along with a hug. When I was called upon to go serve at a mass during Christmas, I was so nervous, and I messed up by forgetting a step in the procedure, but afterward, you came up to me and said that was the best alter serving you saw me ever do, and I was rewarded by a surprise 20 dollar bill as a token of appreciation. I will never forget that.
The last time I saw you was when I got home from a friend's house and trudging up that hill, you came out to say "Hi!" to me along with your granddaughter. Your smile always makes me feel better.
Thank you for being in my life. May God watch over you, no, he will, he most definitely will watch over you in Heaven. Your family will continue on your greatness, and your death will not have been in vain.
Remember to watch over all of us you touched in your life.
And please watch over me too :D.
From the bottom of my heart, from the soul, from the words I could not type out,
Love,
Matthew Lau. The boy who lives on the same block as you around the corner...Rest in peace :].
