Larry Hall Obituary

Larry Lee Hall 69, passed away at Seton Hospital late Tuesday night on November 23, 2010 Survived by his devoted wife Susan Hall of Pacifica. Beloved father of Julie Hall-Abudiab (A.J.) of San Bruno, Beverly Wheeler-Stewart (Fred) of Clear Lake, Steven Hall of Chico, the late Shirley Hall, step son Stan Hollenbach (Rachel) in Florida. Grandfather of Deona,Ariana, Eddie, Stevie, Brayton and Ethan. Son of late Kathleen Arellano and late Robert Hall. Brother of John Hall (Effy) in Florida. Also, survived by his loving nephew,nieces, cousins and his cute little dog, Mikie. Born in Burlington, Iowa in 1941. Moved to San Francisco at the age of 10 and attended Balboa High School. He became a Rigger of the SF Naval Shipyard. Then was a member of the Sign and Display Local Union 510 for 40 years where he installed exhibit displays at conventions all over the Bay Area. He had the most seniority for the majority of those years. Larry enjoyed collecting coins, telling stories, cooking, going to the movies, and traveling. His most recent travel was to Hawaii in April. He was the most giving, loving, generous person you could ever meet. Eventhough he may not have been able to express his feelings, he definitly showed it. He will be truly missed. Visitation for family and friends will begin on Tuesday, November 30th at 4pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave., Daly City, Ca. A Rosary will be offered that evening at 7pm also at Duggan's Serra. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:30am on Wednesday, December 1st at Duggan's Serra, with the Committal to follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, Colma, Ca. Donations may be made to the Charity of your choice in memory of Larry Lee Hall.
