Sandra L. Perez June 24, 1959 ~ June 8, 2011 Sandra L. Perez passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully on June 8, 2011 at the age of 51, much too soon. Sandy leaves behind her daughters, Myisha and Aleta; her son and daughter-in-law, DJ and Leean; her 5 grandchildren, Davonte, Devyn, Elijah, Josiah, and Gabrielle; her father, Willie; and her niece, Nila, who all loved her very much. Born in Philadelphia but spent most of her life in Daly City, Sandy was well known for her spirit and outspoken character - she was a firecracker. Sandy dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren and put off her desires to travel for many years. However, now that her children were grown with children of their own she began to take some of the trips that she dreamed of and she was enjoying life to the fullest. Sandy touched the lives of countless people during her many years working at Jefferson and Westmoor High Schools. She will be remembered as a strong woman, with a big heart, that was devoted to her family and a great friend who will be truly missed. May she rest in peace knowing she is loved dearly. Services will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at Duggan's Serra Mortuary in Daly City. The viewing begins at 4:00pm with a celebration of her life at 7:30pm followed by a light reception.
