Charles Randall Obituary

Charles Dickey "Dick" Randall after almost 90 years of vibrant life, Dick passed away on February 10th surrounded by his family. Born in Highland Park, Illinois, February 25, 1923, he was the son of Elizabeth Lee and Irving Randall, Sr. who moved to Los Altos in 1929.
Dick attended Los Alamos School, Choate Preparatory School and Yale University and served in the US Army in the South Pacific during WWII. He married Sally Ann Childs in Hood River, Oregon, in 1948 and they recently celebrated 64 years of marriage.
Dick was a quiet gentleman and a true and committed friend to all who knew him. His sense of humor and generous spirit were reflected in his volunteer work throughout San Mateo County. The Randalls were long time members of the Menlo Circus Club.
He is survived by his wife Sally, his daughter Susan Lee Randall, his son Peter Winston Randall and wife Patrice and their two sons Gregory Lee Randall and Tyler Winston Randall; also two nieces, Jane Randall Barry and Barbara Randall Preuss.

Extra special thoughts and celebration of Dick on his 90th birthday. His warmth, friendliness, kindness, laughter, and sense of fun always brought cheer and smiles and will be etched in my heart forever. I feel honored to have known such a wonderful gentleman. Love and condolences to all.
