Mildred Radovich Obituary

Mildred (Obradovich) Radovich

1917-2013

Millie, 95, passed peacefully on October 16th, 2013 in Beverly Hills CA, surrounded by her devoted and loving family. A first generation American, she was born in Steelton PA and raised there by her parents George and Petra (Vorkapich) Obradovich, whom she adored. They relocated to San Francisco in 1945 to be near her older brother, the late Archimandrite Dositei of the Serbian Orthodox Church. In retirement, she moved to Los Angeles where she resided happily for the remainder of her life. She is survived by her children Anita (Klipa) Dorich of Los Angeles and John Radovich of Mill Valley CA, her granddaughter Anastasia Radovich, and her children-in-law William Dorich and Mary (Kollias) Radovich. Mom and Grandma, with her unconditional love and support, will be deeply missed but forever lovingly remembered. Private services and interment at Serbian Cemetery, Colma CA.

Anita,

I don't know if you remember me but I used to go to church and Sunday School at Castro Street. I remember your grandparents vividly and also your Mother. After church, we would go downstairs for refreshments.

Later in life, your Mother remarried and lived one block from my parents, Bogdan & Milica Murisich. They remained friends for many years.

Please accept our deepest condolences as she was a very special person whom I will always remember as will my late parents. Millie Murisich (Foley) Ostric
