This is not easy to write. I don't remember life without my dear cousin Aleda. We were so close and spoke often, especially during her latter days. She was my inspiration to travel to France to meet our family in Aquitaine. Aleda was excited and we were to travel there together. Unfortunately, time had other ideas. I will always love and cherish the memories we shared and offer my love to Alma during this time of transition.

Dear Alma, you have been an angel.Aleda loved you so.
I shall miss my dear friend. We go back to the second grade in Lafayette Grammar School in SF. Throughout the years we kept a close relationship, trips to Reno, the Washington High School Reunions , The Faithful Lunches at Ceasars. My husband, Anatole, affectionately called us, Aleda, Jackie, Linda, Myra, and me, "the Golden Girls".Aleda always had a winning smile and a great sense of humor. We had so many laughs
My memories are sweet.
Always, Adele Balmy
