Angelo de Guttadauro Obituary

Colonel Angelo de Guttadauro (Ret.) Of San Antonio, passed away on November 6th at his residence. He was 73 years old. Born in SF's North Beach to Dorothy and Nino Guttadauro. Col. de Guttadauro was a graduate of Palo Alto High School (1955) and San Jose State University (1959). He held a master's degree in international relations from USC and attended the US Army War College. Col. de Guttadauro was awarded numerous military decorations, retiring from Fifth Army at Fort Sam Houston after 33 years of service and worked for USAA insurance in San Antonio for 6 years. Col. de Guttadauro is survived by his beloved wife Giuliana of Cordovado (PN), Italy; sons Andrea (Roshawn) of La Jolla, and Lorenzo of Los Angeles; brother Gaetano (Ellen ) Guttadauro of Davis; nephew Paolo Guttadauro of Pullman, WA, numerous brothers of Sigma Nu fraternity of SJSU and extended family in Italy. Graveside Services, Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, 11:30AM, Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio. The family has requested has requested memorial contributions to Brooke Army Medical Center, Attn: Gift Coordinator, 3851 Roger Brooke Dr, Fort Sam Houston, TX 78234.
