Bonnie Flower, 63, passed away suddenly. Her generous spirit, warm heart and remarkable talent will be missed by family, friends and fans. A gifted musician, Bonnie was raised in Millbrae, Ca., attended Mills High and played with her sister Wendy in the S.F. rock band Crystal Fountain. The teen siblings then recorded the album, "Genesis." Bonnie continued to make beautiful music, right until fate interrupted. She was also a skilled artist and a great cook. She had moved to Cottonwood, Arizona, where she lived happily with her beloved husband, Perfecto Bolfango, and their pets. She is also survived by her sister, Wendy Flower-Freeman. No services, at Bonnie's request. Donations in her memory may be sent to the Peninsula Humane Society. To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

I met and knew Bonnie in 1967-68 when I was the drummer for the garage band "Crystal Fountain". Our singer was Bonnie's talented older sister Wendy. Bonnie was barely a teenager. During a break, she asked to sit in on my drum set. HOLY COW! She literally blew it away! I sheepishly returned to my drum throne after, thoroughly humbled! Sweet, pretty gal, Bonnie. We all reunited about 40 years later and had a really great evening together. Wonderful memories....

Wendy, I'm so sorry about Bonnie. I wish I thought to try and get a hold of you guys a few years sooner... If you remember me: guitar player that lived in Burlingame, Cliff Fields. I came over to your guys house and we played a few times. I remember Bonnie as a drummer too... [almost like Karen Carpenter?] anyway love to hear from you. 650-716-6916

Back in the 70's Bonnie was my sister-in-law. I have some really great memories from that time. Life was so simple, we all were so young. Thanks for the memories Bonnie. May you rest in peace.
