Brigitte Helga Weil Passed away peacefully, October 22, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Fred Weil; loving mother of Jennifer (Michael) Glickman; dear stepmother of Dr. Helena Weil (Eric Reiss) and Stephanie (Dr. Bob) Small; dear twin sister of Ursula Bieber and sister of the late Elisabeth (Eddie) Curcio and sister-in-law of the late Eberhard Bieber; loving aunt of Gaby Kapp, Manfred Bieber, Helga Bieber, Benjamin and Sebastian Bieber, Stefanie and Anne Kapp, and Lea Marie Seitz. She came with her older sister Elisabeth to New York in 1950, later living in both Chicago and Los Angeles. She followed her best friend Millie to San Francisco, where she married, raised her daughter, and spent the rest of her life. She worked as a retail clerk until 2009, spending much of that time as a cosmetologist for the Sir Francis Drake Pharmacy, manager for See's Candies, and, most recently, retiring from Lehr's German Specialties at the age of 80. Services will be held in Friedrichsdorf, Germany. In lieu of flowers, a donation in Brigitte's memory may be made to German Ladies' General Benevolent Society, P. O. Box 27101, SF 94127.
