Dear Jean, Anne, Dorothy and family:
My brother Peter and I attended the services for your Mom on behalf of the Schembri family. I am sure that your Mom was looking down on the beautiful services and smiling. Anne, the anecdotes you shared about your Mom’s life were a tribute to her pride, determination, and excellent work ethic. The circumstances surrounding her marriage to your Dad was so touching and brings home that fact that life is full of twists and turns. Your Mom’s story also shed some light on of the various challenges our parents faced when immigrating to a new life here in the United States. We are all very blessed to have parents that showed unbelievable strength and courage in order to make a better life for their children. I am sure that you are all very grateful for all your Mom did for you and your children throughout her life. Wishing you comfort and peace in the coming days. The Schembri Family
