Clarence L. Rhodes Jr. Dec. 18, 1910 - Sep. 8, 2010 Peacefully with his family at his side Devoted Family Patriach and devoted husband of the late Cecilia Rhodes, as a young musician he toured the United States with the big bands of that era. Clarence was a Big Band and Jazz Connoiseur. A retired Longshoreman, He was the oldest living longshoreman on the Pacific Rim. Friends may call on Sunday. September 19, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at DUGGANS FUNERAL SERVICE, 3434 - 17th Street nr Valencia and are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Monday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Pauls Church, Church at Valley Streets, Committal Holy Cross Cemetery.

I will miss Papa and all the stories you told me. You are at peace now and your with the love of your life Cecilia. God kept you here with us for 99yrs what more can we ask for but to only send you off with the big bang of love like the music you loved so much.
