My Father, M. Sterling Collins, a brother-in-law, of Clifford Sweet would say "Put It in the Clock and Let It Tick with the Time".
Today, in 2020, I can honor the Life of Clifford Sweet by remembering his love of FAMILY. His sons, Julian Sweet and Brett Sweet, have Always been the Focus of his Loving Care and Concern.
Cliff, affectionately known by a few, has made his mark in Society through his Children.
What a notable example to leave a Legacy of "Parenting" par Excellence. Cliff, Do Continue to Rest-In-Peace!

As neighbors of Clifford for many, many years, we'll always cherish the memory of his wonderful, dry humor. He always thought carefully before speaking, and would then say just the right thing with just enough, appropriate (often funny) words. His mind, his personality and his good spirit were always upbeat. We will remember him always and will miss him.

Dear Jim and Family,
Our hearts are with you in love and sympathy. May happy memories bring a measure of comfort.
Please know that you and your family have modeled love, care, devotion, dedication and family togetherness to the highest level.
Cliff was Lea's attorney in the mid 60's because Wester assigned her critical case to a young, brilliant up-start -- Cliff! Cliff was dynamic, professional, efficient, effective and good-natured. He certainly made his mark in life -- in his own "quiet" way.
Our prayers are with you!

Cliff displayed a quiet and often corny way of expressing his Deep and Abiding Love for "Family".
Cliff's expressions Shall Long Be Remembered.

I have good memories of Cliff from the early 70s, when I worked at Legal Aid. He had a sharp mind, but he also had a great sense of silly (who else would name his cats Rosemary and Walter?). I was so sorry to hear his last years were difficult ones. I'll remember him with a smile.
