Consuelo Maria Collaco
Consuelo, also known as "Connie", passed away peacefully on November 19, 2012 at the age of 84.
Born Consuelo Maria Remedios on April 28, 1928, to Heitor Santiago Remedios and Maria Belarmina Gomes, Connie grew up in Kowloon, Hong Kong and married Jose Mario Collaco on November 7, 1953. The Collaco family immigrated to the United States in 1960.
Connie is survived by her children Vasco, Antonia, Sylvia, Norma, and Timothy; her grandchildren and their spouses Joseph and Kathy, Genevieve and Troy, Daniel and Juliana, Russell and Ana, Juliane, Mario, Katherine, Melanie, Justin, Peter, and Larissa; and her great grandsons Ryan and Kai.
The family extends sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Craig Rigler, Helen Yates, and all of the staff at Hospice by the Bay for their compassionate care during the last few years of Connie's life.
A Celebration of Life service will be held for Connie at a later date.
