Cynthiana Elliott

Cynthiana "Pinky" Finley Elliott Died March 19, 2010 at home in Walnut Creek. Born November 26, 1926 to Hugh Dozier and Mary Latta Finley of Berkeley, she graduated from Cal in 1947 with a degree in accounting. She married Richard Rountree Elliott in 1950 and when they started their family in 1958, she became active in numerous charities, was a school librarian and a girl scout leader. Widowed in 1976, she went back to work for 13 years as the office manager of a grain cooperative in Stockton. After retirement she traveled, and was a member of the California Genealogy Society and the DAR. She is survived by her daughters, Wynn Elliott Newton of Tracy, and Jane Elliott Wike of Manhattan Beach, and four grandchildren. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to Hospice of the East Bay are appreciated.
