Dan's real love was his 1931 Chevy Woody Wagon, that he loved to drive to San Francisco. He would Pick out a tourist or two and give them a ride usually down the Lombard Hill. He donated the car to the San Francisco Martine Museum several years ago. It is now on board the Ferry Boat Eureka. Dan was a long time volunteer at the Martine Museum. Dan was also an animal lover, especially cats. He had rescued several over the years and they became his household pets. He was a faithful volunteer for the Boy Scouts Of America for over 8 years. Dan was a Life Time Member of The International Association Of Mechanics, He was a member of Local 1305 in San Francisco and then Local 1414 on the Peninsula. He loved a good joke and had a wonderful since of humor.
