Danilo Fabbri Obituary

Danilo Fabbri Passed away peacefully on September 12, 2010. Born June 27, 1949, he was raised in Tuscany. Danilo moved to San Francisco where, in 1980, he met his great love, his beloved wife Linda Rader Fabbri. They married in 1982 and built their life together in Berkeley, California. Danilo was larger than life; a man of many talents, and a successful businessman/restaurateur. He loved his dogs, his garden, bocce ball, and formula one car races. He was passionate, generous and an excellent cook. An extraordinary man, Danilo was a valiant and courageous warrior in his thirty-five-year battle with kidney disease. Survived by his wife Linda, he was preceded in death by his parents Iacopo and Emma Fabbri, and also by his brother Franco Fabbri. Danilo leaves behind loving cousins and friends who will miss him dearly. Friends and family are invited to attend the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. on Wed., September 22, 2010 at Immaculate Conception Church, 3255 Folsom Street, SF, 94110. In lieu of flowers, any donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
