David Gerstbacher Obituary

David E. Gerstbacher Born May 30, 1955, died unexpectedly on September 23, 2010. A native, David lived his entire life in San Francisco. He graduated from the Drew School and attended the Golden Gate University where he earned the Bachelor of Science Degree, Cum Laude, in Management and the Master of Business Administration in Finance. Dave was a passionate history buff and raconteur. All those who knew him will miss him, His parents Charles Augustus and Laura Catherine Gerstbacher precede him in death. He is survived by his sister Emily, brothers Charles (Cathy) and John (Stefanie) and nieces Dana (Poole), Kelly and nephew Randall, great niece Heidi (Poole) and great nephew Charles (Poole). The immediate family will hold a private celebration of life. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to the SFSPCA.
