Diane M. Paoli

Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday May 4, 2014 at the age of 81.  Diane was born in Oakland August 3, 1932 to William J. and Eleanor Butler, she was raised in Santa Rosa and made her home in So. San Francisco.   Beloved wife of Mario for 54 years, mother to Eleanora (Jeffrey), Marina, Rosalba, Marcella (Roberto). Adored Nonna to Tyler, Savanna and Alessio.  Diane loved reading, crossword puzzles, Gone With The Wind, Clint Eastwood movies(Clintbaby) and watching Jeopardy, and looked forward to her yearly Ursuline High School alumnae reunions. Diane traveled the world and always had her walking shoes  ready for her next adventure.  Diane especially loved spending summers at her home in Lucca, Italy, sipping apperativos, discovering new restaurants and enjoying family and friends.

Friends may visit on Tues., May 6th between 5-8pm, Garden Chapel, 885 El Camino Real, So. SF, where a Vigil Service will be offered at 7pm.  Cortege will begin to leave Garden Chapel at 10:30am, Wed., May 7th for committal service at Italian Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her memory to Parkinson's Institute 675 Almanor Ave. Sunnyvale, 94085 or Pathway Home Health & Hospice, 585 North Mary Avenue, Sunnyvale, Ca 94085-2905 Attn:Foundation.  Condolences may also be made at www.gardenchapel885.com
