Blessings to Don's family and friends as we morn his passing. Rest assured that Don is now in a wonderful place, in the full presence of God and enjoying the company and friendship of family and friends who entered the gates of Heaven earlier than him.
Don was an enthusiastic DXer [a DXer is a radio hobbyist who enjoys the challenge of receiving very weak radio signals - sort of like the bird watcher who spots a rare bird] of the medium wave [standard AM radio band] and fellow radio DXers will understand what I'm about to say - now Don has superb dx reception with absolutely no noise, no interference. God has blessed you Don, and may God bless your family and friends.
I knew Don through the ABDX online radio DX group. While I never had the pleasure of meeting Don face to face, I enjoyed exchanging delightful email messages with Don about radio and radio DXing over the last 8 or so years.

Don, may you R.I.P. A real gentleman, and very keen AM radio DXer. I always enjoyed his very accurate and detailed loggings of stations he heard. We emailed back and forth from time to time about each others' loggings. He'll be very much missed by the DX community.
