Dear Jane & Wally,
I am so sorry to miss mass tomorrow for your mother. I have fond memories of both Tom & Edith. In fact, Edith lectored for us the day my son was born. I phoned her to say "if you do not see us it means we are at the hospital, so can you please be prepared to cover for us" and naturally she did. The thought that your awesome mother was the first to know of Tony's impending arrival, is a treasure. Lastly, we have a small framed print of the Our Lady holding Jesus in our kitchen. Edith gave it to us. My prayers reach out to you at this time.
