Fred Albertolle Passed away peacefully, January 21, 2006 at the age of 87. Loving husband of Patricia Albertolle for 54 years. Cherished father of Michael and Stephen; and adoring father-in-law of their wives, Teri and Maureen. Devoted grandfather of Matt, Mark, Patrick, Emily, Stephen and Mary. Dear brother of the late Emile and Emily Albertolle and Mary McFarlin. Fred was raised in San Francisco Bernal Heights neighborhood. He attended St. James High School in SF before joining the U.S. Army in 1940. He served his country bravely for five years during World War II as an artilleryman in the South Pacific campaign. He worked in the San Francisco brewing industry for 37 years. He was a resident of Redwood City for 40 years and a parishioner of Our lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He was the last surviving member of the legendary Riff Raff Club of Bernal Heights. Fred became a driver for Redi Wheels assisting elderly and handicapped people with transportation - an assignment that brought him much joy. Friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 300 Fulton St., Redwood City.
