Gerald (Jerry) Vrionis April 15, 1930 - April 30, 2012 Gerald (Jerry) Vrionis passed away in Pleasanton April 30, 2012 at the age of 82. In September of this year Jerry would have been married to his wife Helen for 57 years. Loving father of Kathy and her fiancé Marc and Michael and his wife Maria. Grandfather of Steven, Erik, Danielle, Adam, Michael and James. Brother of Milton (deceased) and his wife Connie and Nicholas and his wife Janet. Brother-in-law to Katherine Stiliades and Despina Peppas. Jerry also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews who he adored. Jerry was a member of the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension in Oakland. He was a US Army veteran of the Korean War, he was a 39 year employee of Wells Fargo Bank. He was a member of the Ahepa Chapter #150, Cephelonian Society, and the Yerba Buena Angling Club. He was a Past Officer of the East Molene Club. Jerry will be remembered for his big smile and clear blue eyes. He loved eating, kidding around, helping others, was passionate about cars and could fix absolutely anything. Jerry's biggest love for the last 6 years was his darling Holly. Family and Friends are invited to attend Trisagion Services Thursday May 3, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Ascension, 4700 Lincoln Ave., Oakland.
