I am deeply saddened hearing the loss of Pax. I was friends with him as a little kid and spent a lot of time with him growing up. I graduated Haverford with him and lost touch. I'd thought of him over the years and thought if I ever got to San Francisco, I'd look him up. My heart goes out to his mom and his family.....Jimmy Thorington (Coatesville, PA)

Our son, Johnny Skjelbred, was a good friend of Miles Roberts...we remember his dad,Pax,as a kind and gentle man. Our son had many sleepovers and good times with Miles in San Francisco and with Liz in Berkeley. W are saddened to hear of his death.

To all Paxton's family and friends,
How blessed we are to have known such a wonderful man as Pax. I spent many days playing sports and pretending we were the Beatles as little kids. We practiced in his basement. He was always a true friend and cared for others feelings. I know he feels the love we all have for him!

To all the Roberts Family,
I am so sorry that we have lost Paxton. He was truly a brother to me and I'll always cherish his smile, wit, and true kindness. I'll never forget when Joy and I came back to the US from Taiwan in 1984...jet lagged and without accomodations...and Pax picked us up in LA and let us stay with him...and drive his car...for a week while we waited to fly east. It was classic Pax...unselfish and big hearted...and we never forgot it! Our thoughts are with all of you at this time. We all will terribly miss Pax's presence, but he'll be with us in spirit always.
