The world has lost a wonderful person, wife, mother and musician. Jane had many roles in life, but always that of a classy lady. She will be remembered dearly by all of those who knew her. May her memory bring good thoughts and spirit to all at the holiday season. Skip and Mary Ann Granger -- 12/7/10

Jane will always live in my heart as a great friend and a model of how to live one's life. She so gracefully blended intellectual and artistic passion, personal modesty, infectious humor, and a love of family and nature. A long conversation with Jane was one of life's true pleasures. Deepest sympathies to the Galante family for your loss of this extraordinary woman. Thank you, Jane. I will miss you so.
