John was my very first coach - St. Cecilia's 4th grade basketball. He worked many basketball games with my Dad. I fondly remember a road trip up to Chico State with them. John came to my Dad's funeral in October and greeted me as he had every time I saw him over the past 40+ years "Hello Teddy Bear." I am very sorry for your loss. He was a great man.

John and Dolly Callinan were a nice part of our lives, years ago at St Cecilia's. Fond memories of working on Festivals together as well as those great softball games at 25th and Vicente.
Our condolences to the family of two great people.

John was a wonderful husband, father and coach. Knew John during his years as a CYO coach and served with him on the CYO Athletic Advisory Board, on which John served as the first chairman. A real gentleman and a good friend. Wishing only the best for his surviving family.
