Dear Jean,
I just received an email from this website about Jack's passing. I was again saddened for you. My precious Tom died in July 2021 and I do understand how heartbreaking it is to lose the love of your life!
I really enjoyed working with Jack during my final years with Chevron. He always had a quick mind and was so supportive of me and my staff.
I hope you're doing OK, but more likely you have good times & then just awful times.
After Tom & I retired, we moved to a home we had bought in Montana (not far from where my family built a cabin in 1928). We really loved living out in the woods, 1-1/2 hours from town, but eventually after 15 years, we moved to Tucson.
I'm so sad that I didn't know Jack's situation much earlier, when he and you were suffering. I could have sent you both love and strength. But knowing how hard it continues to be, I send them to you now.
Love,
Ellie Cannan

DearJean,
I am so sad to hear of Jack's passing. I know how much the two of you loved each other.
Tom and I moved to Montana when I retired... and then to Arizona in 2014. I think of Jackan how he supported me.
I hope you are doing well. I remember you so fondly.
Warm regards,
