Joseph Salvatore Fiumara In San Francisco, September 17, 2010, at the age of 73. Loving father of Maria Sheeran "Marlena"; loving Nonno of Claire, Ciara and Caitlin Sheeran; dear father-in-law of John Sheeran; survived by his dear former wife Alice Fiumara; dear brother of the late Gaetano Fiumara; survived by his nephews Giacomo and Salvatore Fiumara and sister-in-law Maria Fiumara of Messina, Sicily. Also survived by brother and sister-in-law Jack and Yvonne Creighton and niece Debbie Creighton Vaz. Joe was a member of the Stationary Engineers Union, Local #39. He was a chief engineer at Cushman & Wakefield at 400 California St., (Bank of California) SF for 30 years. He attended the Accademia Navale di Livorno in Tuscany, Italy and served for 10 years as a merchant Marine on the "Galileo Ferraris". Former resident of Spring Lake Village in Santa Rosa, CA. Friends may visit Wednesday, September 22nd at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 1555 - 39th Ave. (& Lawton St), San Francisco where a rosary will be said at 10:45 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment Friday, Italian Cemetery, Colma. Donations may be made to St. Anthony's Dining Room or your favorite charity preferred.
