Leon Radsliff

Leon Radsliff Bay area musician, writer / arranger Leon Radsliff died Sat. 10/09/10. Recently celebrating his 90th he reminisced about his life well spent on music, love & family. And what a life it was, from riding the rails out west at 14 to writing arrangements for Jack Teagarden & playing with Tommy Dorsey & his band. He settled into a musician's life in San Francisco, raising a family with his wife, Sunna, the love of his life. After 45 years in the bay area, where he played & wrote music for every major theatre & show in town, they retired to Oregon. Widowed 20 years ago, he returned to the Bay Area last year, enjoying family & local friends again. So to paraphrase -"Regrets?
