Letty Catchings Letty Catchings, 88, passed away Tuesday evening after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Letty was born in Manila and after World War II moved to San Francisco where she attended Heald College. While working for Pacific Telephone she met her husband Harry Catchings. The family moved to Walnut Creek in 1971. Mourning her passing are her brother Lou Caballero (Inga); sons John (Lynn), Tom (Stephanie), and Dan Catchings; daughter Judy (Catchings) Bresciani (Tom); grandchildren Michael Catchings (Becky), Nikki Haines (Dave), Ryan Bresciani, and Jenny Catchings; great grandchildren Cole and Milo Catchings, and two great grandchildren on the way; nephews Philip (Sandra), Lou Jr. (Addy) and niece Susanne (Caballero) Rosenfield (Ian). Preceding Letty in death: her beloved husband Harry, parents Theofanis Papadulis and Helen Manicaros, sister Nina Fields, brother Ted Papadulis, daughter Linda and son Steven. Friends and family are invited to a visitation at Oak Park Hills Chapel, 3111 N. Main St., Walnut Creek on Tuesday July 24th, from 4-7PM., with a vigil service at 7PM. On Wednesday, July 25th at 11AM a prayer service will be held at Oak Park Hills Chapel followed by a funeral procession and interment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Lafayette.
