It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lillian McIntyre Butler, a native of San Francisco, on December 20, 2013.

Lillian was predeceased by her beloved husband, Alfred, her parents Thomas and Mary McIntyre, her siblings, Harold and Frank McIntyre, Hazel MacFarlane, Marie Egan, Grace Volonte and Thomas Egan, her nephew.  Lillian is survived by her loving daughter, Marilyn von Emster (husband, Konrad), her grandchildren Lisa Benner (husband, Christopher), Konrad "Kurt" von Emster (wife, Elizabeth) and her great grandsons Konnor and Michael von Emster and William and Dean Benner, also, nieces and nephews, Theodore Egan, Paulette Volonte, Annette Calegari, Louis Volonte, James Egan, Ellen Cramer, Tom Jenkin and Geri Sant.

The family would like to thank the staff of Villa Siena in Mountain View for their devotion and excellent quality of care that allowed Mom to enjoy her last several years.  A Vigil Service is planned for Thursday December 26, 7pm at Crippen & Flynn Carlmont Chapel, 1111 Alameda de las Pulgas in Belmont.  The Mass of Christian Burial will be December 27, 10am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1040 Alameda de las Pulgas, Belmont, followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
