The Ahern Family,

I was very sorry to hear about the loss of Lois. I worked with her for many years at James Lick Middle School. She was always keeping my spirits up and was lots of fun. I will always remember her wonderful sense of humor. She would always talk about her wonderful family and the fun that you all shared together. I know that she will be truly missed by all lives that she touched. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

Sincerely,
Mary Cuffy

Chris, Cindy, Cathy and Coll....I am soooo sad for all of you. My heart breaks with your loss. Knowing how much your Mother adored each and everyone of you seems to bring a semblance of solace. She was one hella spunky gal. I remember one time at a tea, I told her that Motherhood brought on a bunch of guilt. Lois looked at me, smirked and said, "Denise, I have never felt guilty for a thing where my kids are concerned!" I was flaberghasted at her revelation!!!!!!! I told her so, and Lois told me that we do the very best we can. Nothing to feel guilty for. I loved your Mom. She was one special Bird. Rest in Peace Lo. Right next to your adorable Stubby. You will be missed by all your had the grace to touch.
Thank you for touching my and my families life. I will forever love you.
