Margaret Shirley Susanka Baldocchi, 83, died Monday November 11th.
She was born to the late Albert John and Agnes Susanka on March 4th, 1930 in Seattle; Washington. Margaret graduated from St. Anthony High School in Long Beach, California in 1948, and received a nursing degree from St. Vincent College of Nursing in Los Angeles in 1951.
She married Angelo Baldocchi in 1959 and they lived together and raised 7 children in the San Francisco Bay Area, before relocating to Castro Valley in the East Bay.
Margaret was a registered nurse who worked at Kaiser Permanente in South San Francisco for 20 years. She was a parishioner at St. Veronica's Catholic Church in South San Francisco for 25 years.
Margaret is survived by seven children, Anthony, Timothy, Kelly, Alisa, Andy, Kimberly and Tracy Baldocchi and she is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that masses be said on their mothers behalf.
A viewing will be held Friday, November 22, at 4:00PM with the Rosary starting at 7:00PM at Jess Spencer Mortuary, 21228 Redwood Rd., Castro Valley.
Funeral service will be Saturday, November 23, at 11:30 AM at Transfiguration Catholic Church, 4000 East Castro Valley Blvd., Castro Valley CA.
Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Lafayette CA.
