I was a graduate student of Dr. Bradbury's in the early '70s. I came to study with her after taking her Intro to Marine Biology. Her exposition of the material was excellent, especially her wonderful illustrations on the board. It was a fascinating and I have her to thank for a lifelong love affair with and career in biology. She was an excellent mentor and a consummate academician, I will never forget her.

Dr. Bradbury was one of my instructors at SFSU in the late 70's and early 80's. Her ichthyology course was one adventure after another and showed me how science could be fun. She was a patient and kind mentor as I negotiated through a newly forming marine biology major and came out in one piece with an M.A.
I'm glad to have known her.
