Marian Eaton Obituary

Marian Chris Eaton Passed away Friday, September 3, 2010. She was born on June 25, 1918 in Merced, Calif., to Alice Brude Ernst of Norway and Robert Ernst of Michigan. Chris was an Executive Secretary for Levi & Zenter Packing Co. in the Sacramento Valley for 18 years. It was there that she met the love of her life, Virgil Walter Eaton. They were married on June 11, 1960. They lived in the Oakland Hills after moving from San Francisco. Virgil died in 2001 and Chris moved to Lake San Marcos to be closer to her family. She left many good friends behind. She is survived by her sister, Gladys L Stillman, her brother Charles Ernst (wife Barbara) and nieces and nephews who loved her very much. Chris loved her family and all the joy it brought her. We will miss you Mimi....

We were sorry to hear of Chris's passing. She and Virgil were good neighbors at Hillcrest Court. Chris was a fun tennis partner and always friendly and kind. Our sympathy to Gladis and all the family.
