Martha Elle Obituary
Martha Jay Elle Martha Jay Elle passed away on February 10, 2013 at the age of 67. She was born in Boston Massachusetts. She received her Masters in Public Administration from USC and went on to own and operate several successful businesses. Her career shifted into the rewarding field of physician recruitment, forging many new relationships and bringing top physicians to the region.
She is survived by her son Greg Elle and daughter-in-law Amy Elle, daughter Jean Elle and son-in-law Jeff Steinman, brother Doug Gilmore, brother Bruce Gilmore and sister-in-law Ellen Gilmore, nieces Chelsea Gilmore , Allison Brown, and Emily Gilmore, and nephew Brian Gilmore.
Traveling was one of Martha's passions, and she had the good fortune to have seen much of the world including Russia, Egypt, Portugal, Bali, India, China, Japan, Taiwan, Mexico, Paris, and England.
Martha loved to entertain, cooking wonderful dinners and planning adventurous outings. She was kind, generous, loyal, and devoted to her family and many friends, and her companionship will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know her.
A celebration of Martha's life will be held on Saturday, February 16, from 2 - 4 PM at the Creekside Restaurant , 1010 Stanley Dollar Drive in the Rossmoor Retirement Community, Walnut Creek, CA.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Martha's name may be made to either Muttville Senior Dog Rescue, P.O. Box 410207, San Francisco, CA 94141, or Filoli Center, 86 Canada Road, Woodside, CA 94062.
