Sister Mary Grace was my 5th,6th, and 7th grade teacher when I was a student @ St Christopher School here in San Jose in the late1950's-1961. I was in the first Graduating class in 1961. She was very proud of that class.
I remember being taken out of class, when I was in eighth grade to have her tell me that my mother had called, crying and excited, to tell her that I had been accepted to Notre Dame in San Jose. There were tears in her eyes too. I always had the feeling, that at that time, she felt that she had accomplished her goal---teaching and encouraging us to do more. She was an influence that I have never forgotten.

Sr. Mary Grace was my 7th Grade teacher at St. Agnes in S.F. (1944-1945.) She attended many of our Class reunions over the years. I was thrilled to have a chance to tell her the positive influence she had on my life...We exchanged notes for many years.. I always thought if an angel appeared, Sr. Grace's beauty would be what I would envision.
