Patria Molé

Marshall, California

Jun. 21, 1941 - Aug. 30, 2013

Friend and sister, lover of art, gardening, theater and a good book. Patria Molé was an excellent cook and enjoyed sharing the pleasures of the table with her family of friends. A proper tea was her specialty - all inclusive - with fine bone china, frilly cloth napkins, and assorted homebaked goodies.

A true craftswoman, Patria was a creative seamstress and worked for many years in the costume department at Marin's Mountain Theater. If you were lucky enough to be included in her circle of friends, she found gifts for every occasion and decorated the package with artful ribbons, wrapped in hand painted paper. The presentation was so lovely; the package became part of the gift.

Patria was a nanny to several families in Hawaii and Southern California. When she moved to the San Francisco Bay Area, she worked at Glide Memorial Church in San Francisco and for the past 20 years at Marconi Conference Center in Marshall. She especially loved being a part of the Pt. Reyes/Tomales Bay community.

A seasoned traveler, Patria was fortunate to experience many corners of the world. Two of her favorite places wereAnguilla, BWI and Cambria, CA. Patria surrounded herself with a group of unique friends. We will all miss her and her Australian lilt. Rest in peace dear, sweet, friend.

Born in Merewerth, Australia, Patria Molé is predeceased by her parents, Lydia and William Molé, and her brothers, Cecil and Ron and is survived by her niece, Narelle Brown and her family. A celebration of her life will be held in October. To be on a contact list, please email octcelebration@gmail.com">octcelebration@gmail.com">octcelebration@gmail.com">octcelebration@gmail.com.
