Raymond G. Martinet born in France, the loving husband, father, brother and uncle peacefully passed away following a brief illness on February 13th. He follows Blanka, his wife of 51 years, and is survived by their son Thad.
As an electrician in the shipyards during WW II, he also served with the Rescue & First Aid Service of the Disaster Council and Corps in San Francisco. A renaissance man passionate about myriad interests; musician, photographer, outdoorsman, fly fisherman, chess player, furniture builder, sailor, bread baker, volunteer, and hardware store manager. The all around good neighbor was always ready to help. A man of unflagging good will and high principal, who will be missed by all.
He wished for no services.
